Description
TPD-FR730 is a highly efficient organicsilicon flame retardant, which is a flaky irregular solid. It is mainly used in thermoplastics to produce flame retardant thin-wall PC products and sheets. Its advantages lie in that organicsilicon molecules accelerate the surface carbon formation and effectively improve the flame retardancy of the product. Its refractive index is close to that of pure PC resin, which has little effect on the transparency of the finished product; it has good heat resistance, and the weight loss ratio at 350 ℃ is less than 5%.
Features
- Prevent dripping
- Improve flame retardancy
- Enhance impact strength
- Reduce smoke and its release
- High molecular weight and high degree of crosslinking

Application
In order to improve its economy, it is suggested to use with other flame retardants to reach the level of UL94-V0.
Suggested dosage level: 0.5-1.0%.
When the addition amount is 0.5-1.0%, the flame retardancy of the resin can be improved by 10-30%, and the improvement range varies with the materials, when a large amount of flame retardant is added, the addition amount of the original flame retardant can be reduced by 10-30% by adding 0.5 1.0% TPD-FR730, and the mechanical properties can be improved to achieve synergistic flame retardant effect.
TPD-FR730 can be mixed with any flame retardant. The addition of brominated flame retardants can be reduced by mixing with brominated flame retardants. In order to achieve halogen-free flame retardant, it is recommended to use with sulfonate and phosphate flame retarant. UL94-V0 (1.6 mm) can be obtained when it is used in transparent PC with sulfonate flame retardant KSS, and UL94-V0 can be obtained when it is used in PC/ABS with TPP, and the impact strength of the alloy can be enhanced.
